Always a pleasure to go to LIOC for an eye exam. Dr. Tung and his associates and technicians are friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. Though busy, the process moves quickly and efficiently. Over the years, I have recommended many friends and families to Dr. Tung and his colleagues.

From the moment I stepped into the office in Bellmore everything was great!!! The office was very clean and operated with great efficiency and on time !!! In particular , I saw Dr. Nahornyak, and she was nothing short of terrific. She was extremely nice , so kind, made me feel so comfortable and was extremely thorough in her examination. She was also incredibly knowledgeable and able to articulately answer all questions with great satisfaction. Thank you so much !!!!

I'm 73 yrs old, and my vision started becoming 'cloudy' due to cataracts in both eyes. After reading all of the accolades about Dr. Tung, I decided to put my precious eyesight in his hands. THIS WAS THE BEST DECISION I'VE EVER MADE!!
Dr. Tung is not only an EXCEPTIONALLY talented Opthalmic Surgeon, he also instructed me about the entire procedure. I was VERY frightened, and Dr. Tung allayed my fears. I'm telling you the truth...If I could, I would grow a third eye, just to go through this marvelous procedure again!! My entire world has opened up with SO MUCH CLARITY!! Thank you SO MUCH, Dr. Tung!
I would be remiss if I didn't mention his Staff. Totally professional, extremely personable, and an absolute joy meeting them at every appointment!
If you're in need of cataract surgery, PLEASE consider Dr. Tung. I RECOMMEND HIM... HIGHLY!!

I came down with a case of Bells Palsy and needed an appointment quickly. The office was very accommodating and got me in fairly quickly. They did a thorough exam and explained everything. The staff was very friendly and the place had an overall nice atmosphere. Very knowledgeable staff and a good first experience with having my eyes checked.

I went to LIOC and saw Dr. George Tung for a second opinion and am glad I did. He's a very thorough, detail oriented eye doctor and has great bedside manners. I would highly recommend him for all your eyecare needs.

The overall experience at Dr. Tung’s practice is outstanding! His staff is friendly, very skilled at what they do and their teamwork is highly commendable. They have an outstanding mentor in Dr. Tung.who really knows his trade! He answers any question with a smile, and his practice has the most up to date equipment. I am happy to have found such a dedicated, highly skilled Doctor with a superb staff!

Dr. Tung has been the ophthalmologist for my wife and myself for many years. He is personable and patient, and takes time to explain our eye exam results thoroughly. Also, Dr. Tung is caring and efficient, that makes every meeting we had with him completely stress free.

The doctor and his staff are all very professional. Dr. Tung is pretty easy to talk to and accommodating. The office is super clean and everyone knows what they're doing. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.

I just started going to this office and highly recommend it! For one, they do not overbook so you will be taken within a few minutes of your appointment. The staff is knowledgeable and administer most of the exams and then you meet with the doctor. I see Dr Sing Your Li and she has a wonderful bed side manner and one can feel comfortable with her because she exudes knowledge and compassion. Overall, I give this five stars but I would mark even higher given their professionalism.

Excellent practice! Reception, intake and care were stellar. Dr. Nahornyak is absolutely fantastic! She is kind, thorough and was able to quickly diagnose and treat my condition. I would highly recommend this smoothly run practice!
