Dr. Panus Romsaitong is an ophthalmic surgeon and comprehensive ophthalmologist board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He completed his undergraduate studies at NYU and received his medical degree at New York Medical College. His internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport, CT was followed by residency training at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers of New York and a fellowship in medical retina at NYU Medical Center, which he completed in 1999.
Dr. Romsaitong is an accomplished, experienced comprehensive ophthalmic physician and surgeon with a special interest in cataract surgery. He continues to stay abreast of the latest techniques and innovations to provide his patients the best care for their eyes while teaching these techniques to ophthalmology residents at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he is active as a Clinical Director. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at New York Medical College and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Romsaitong is a devoted husband and father. In his spare time, he enjoys staying active and is an avid tennis player.
